About mathew jacob

Working across photography, videography and documentary film, Mathew Jacob has built a practice alongside artists — in theatre, dance and movement — as well as institutions, corporate clients and individuals across Barcelona. The work spans everything from a single portrait to a feature-length documentary, always guided by the same instinct: to join creatively with the people in front of the lens, and build something together rather than simply capture from a distance.

A journey, and an open invitation to create together.

रो മാ — two syllables, two languages. Ro, from Hindi. Ma, from Malayalam, the mother tongue. Together, they trace a journey from South Asia to South Europe — from India to Spain. It’s a name built on movement, carrying something forward while staying rooted in where it came from.
